The Bible tells us that God has given us authority and power over satan and his cohorts.
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
However, sometimes it looks like the enemy has the upper hand in our affairs- Marriage, relationship, business, health, finances, ministries, family etc.
Just remember dearly beloved that we are actively involved in a battle. You standing in and with God is in itself, a major deterrent to the enemy and his activities.
They will attack and exert colossal negative spiritual as well as physical pressure on you to incite fear, discouragement and compromise.
Do not yield to those negative, pessimistic and fear-provoking thoughts. Do not ruminate on past failures and allow them to paralyze your present; jeopardizing your future.
Deliberately focus on the good, godly, loving, positive and faith-filled thoughts.
Remember that the heart of the Christian battle is the battle of the heart.
One last and very important thing: submit yourself completely unto God and His ways, then you will be able to successfully resist the devil.
If you do not submit to God, then you are not standing with Him and if you aren’t standing with God, guess who will be able to stand against you…
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
Show me a man who is wholly submitted to God and I will show you a man the devil fears the most.
God bless you
